We are looking for determined, resilient and caring people to join our team, and help support children with Special Education Needs. Required to start ASAP.
What we are looking for
Your primary role will be to support children with their learning. A good understanding of English and Maths is essential. You must be committed to working in a busy and caring environment, where safeguarding children is paramount.
ROLE 1 – The hours are 19.5 per week, working every morning (8:45am – 12pm), and three afternoons (12:30 – 2pm)
- This role is working with two children in year 1, who need help to keep focussed, develop independence, and access the curriculum.
ROLE 2 – The hours are 20.25 per week, working every morning (8:45am – 12:15pm), and three afternoons (1:10 – 2:30pm).
- This role is working with two children in year 5, supporting them with their core learning in maths and literacy, and helping them to develop their communication and interaction skills.
These roles are primarily to help children with Education, Health and Care Plans, and so can change as and when needed to meet the needs of the children.
The pay is ‘B’ grade, which is £9.18 per hour. Please note: this is linked to a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan, describing their educational needs. This contract will finish when the child leaves the school, or if the funding is no longer available.
