Waste Awareness Event
Come along on Friday 24th May from 3.30-4.30pm for practical tips and inspiration for avoiding waste.
Stalls will include:
Exmouth Repair Cafe – Bring along your broken items to be fixed free of charge. This could be a toy, clothing, jewellery, an electrical item or a small piece of furniture. (Clothes must be clean. No alterations.) https://www.facebook.com/Repaircafeexmouth/
Nourish of Topsham – Selling a range of eco items to help you to avoid waste.

Surfers Against Sewage Let you know more about our upcoming beach clean on Sunday 26th May. They will also be holding workshops with some of the KS2 classes in the afternoon.
Eco Champions – sharing our journey so far, our waste audit and the problems with plastic and information about eco bricks and our terracycle collections.
Plastic Free Budleigh Ambassadors Amber and Morgan will be with us to tell us more about how we can join them in working towards Plastic free Budleigh

Devon Waste Education– Advising on bathroom swaps and home composting. They will also be running workshops with classes during the school day.
Oxfam – selling a range of fairtrade items and promoting buying from and donating to charity shops as a way to avoid waste.
Children’s clothing Bring and Buy sale – Save money and help the planet by buying second hand. Please hand in any children’s clothing donations to the office before the day.
52 Degrees North – Food and food for thought for running an eco friendly business.
Hilda’s Forest Author, Emily Martin – selling her children’s story about loving, respecting and protecting our environment.
Raffle – Lots of great prizes kindly donated by stallholders including paddleboarding lessons from Venturi Sports and a family sized pack of Vegan food wraps from Rose and Reign.
