SPSA
Our school has an active fundraising organisation called the SPSA (St. Peter's School Association) which has raised thousands of pounds for the school over the last few years. Examples of what the money has been spent on are: Laptops, outdoor play equipment, the swimming pool toilet, visiting theatres, year 6 leavers gifts, grid club, footballs, the new tennis table plus many other projects both large and small.
The school raises money from selling school uniform, bake sales, discos, the summer fair and gala week, the summer ball and sponsored events such as morris dancing and the dads' footy match. There are also contributions from swimming classes such as rookie lifeguard and aquajog, plus lots of other events throughout the year. The most recent event was the Ceilidh which was a great success and enjoyed by everyone who came along.
