Sally Roberts 2008 - 2011

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Mrs Sally Roberts last Friday following a prolonged period of serious illness which she bore with great strength. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Roberts and their three children.

Our children were informed  and Mrs Roberts was remembered in a special school assembly on Monday.   We are fortunate that many staff and children have some wonderful memories of her as she was highly respected and greatly loved. She was a very special Headteacher and the school has been enriched by her special contribution and service.

Sally's funeral will be held at the Parish Church of St Nicholas and St Giles in Sidmouth at noon on Saturday 14th January.

It was Sally's clear instruction that colour be worn to reflect the joy that she experienced in her life and the family ask that if you have a favourite photograph of Sally you bring a copy to put in a book of memories.

Donations in Sally's memory are invited to go to Force, a local cancer support charity and Childrens Hospice South West.  Gift Aid envelopes will be available at the funeral.
